We are looking for a highly motivated person with a caring, committed and competitive attitude to fulfil the position of:

Project Surveyor (m/f)

As a Project Surveyor you have an all-encompassing role to cover the project(s) from the design phase right through to the execution phase offshore.

Main areas of responsibilities:

  • Update existing survey procedures – including review of methodologies and equipment
  • Review survey data packages from the client or subcontractors
  • Prepare and manage survey deliverables templates such as charts, GIS deliverables, listings
  • Provide data to assist with route engineering, when only UXO and bathymetry data available
  • Arrange survey equipment specific for the job
  • Define scope of work for subcontractors, review bids
  • Support during operations in managing survey contractors
  • Assist project team with day to day business related to survey
  • Manage GIS data

Preferred profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in subsea pipe/umbilical/cable lay or construction in a similar position
  • Knowledge of subsea positioning requirements (7m – 30m WD) using two USBL systems
  • Sufficient survey software skills and CAD skills and willing to learn ArcGIS Desktop, or ArcGIS skills and CAD skills
  • Preferably familiar with US state plane and working in the US
  • Valid Offshore certificates are a plus
